Paper cut is a spatial installation that turns paper cutting into a large perforated screen. Each pattern illustrates one specific character in real life. Light and shadow of the screen reminds audience of the good side and dark
side of personality. The perforation is enlarged to an architectural scale which makes individual pattern too abstract to be recognizable. Depending on the viewing angles, audience can get a different reading. Some audience may think they are inside a paper forest.
